Thanks for visiting our home on the World Wide Web! Los Angeles Storage has been Southern California's premiere storage facility for over 100 years, offering short- and long-term storage spaces of all sizes, packing supplies, moving services, and digital storage solutions for both personal and corporate clients.

In the early 20th Century, our founder Theodore R. Olivier moved his family from a quiet suburb of St. Louis to the bustling metropolis of Los Angeles with the dream of becoming a silent film star. However, life had other plans, and although he never made his big break, he did spot a problem that needed solving: Los Angeles was booming, and people were running out of space!

Thus, in 1918, Mr. Olivier broke ground on our new 6-story concrete facility, complete with a state-of-the-art freight elevator. The rest, as they say, is history! Our family has been proudly serving the people of this fine city ever since.

Standing six stories tall and ever-watchful over this great city, our flagship facility in the tiny West Adams District near Downtown Los Angeles has seen it all through the decades: from the roaring 1920's all the way through today!

Early in our illustrious history, the "Golden Age" of Hollywood lured new starry-eyed dreamers to pour into Tinsel Town from all over the globe. This turned our fine facility into the Storage Company to the Stars, serving as a defacto prop house for 20th Century Fox, Metro-Goldwyn-Meyer, RKO, and United Artists.

Our halls became home to the luxurious wardrobe, furniture, and home goods of famous folks like Judy Garland, Humphrey Bogart, Lucille Ball, John Wayne, and Mae West! In fact, in the midst of Hollywood's heyday, Mr. Olivier's annual Christmas party in the LA Storage lobby was quite the sight, practically a list of the who's-who of Hollywood!

Besides big movie stars, our prestigious clients range the gamut from the aerospace, fashion, and hospitality industries as well. But when it comes right down to it, our favorite clients are regular people just like you and me!

Through the decades, hundreds of families have entrusted Los Angeles Storage to safely guard their most precious possessions. And although our stately hallways may look unassuming, behind each door is a treasure trove of personal items from each family's past. In fact, many of our storage units have been passed down from generation to generation!

So at Los Angeles Storage, we understand and accept the responsibility for safely storing your most precious family heirlooms. You can sleep well knowing we offer only the best - our fireproof doors, concrete construction, and comprehensive insurance policies makes storing with us as safe as can be.

Los Angeles Storage comes from a strong pedigree, and it all started with our founder Mr. Olivier in 1918, but we're never content to rest on our laurels. As we prepare to move forward into our shared, digital future, we remain here to serve both your physical and online storage needs.

So, come on by and join the Los Angeles Storage Company family. We're glad you're here!
